Awesome!

The wifi setup took me longer than I wanted, but thats because this is all new to me. Once set up (IP address, user name --KODI--, and I forget what else), it worked flawlessly. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE being able to use my iPad for searching movies or names, and even when setting up new repos. If you find it confusing at first, click the "i" for a detailed description of what each button is for. **There is a tiny keyboard icon which lets you type.** At any time, you can still use your remote. Great back up in case your batteries die while youre using your physical remote!!! Lastly, during the Wifi set up, look at the bottom for two suggested settings that must be made in KODI. Its a simple setting that allows other remotes. Mine was disabled by default. Yours might not be.

Work great with 16.1

Not sure why the other review mentions it not working?

Kodi remote

Ive been using this app for a couple of months and I really liked it. It was working great until a few days ago. Since then it has stopped connecting. I hope this gets resolved so I can use it again.

Almost awesome

Pretty good remote, although it could use and update & facelift. Nice big buttons to navigate, you dont have to look away from the TV to navigate.. Im digging the gesture pad with double tap for back. I also really like how the keyboard automatically pops up when you enter a search field. My one complaint is that it only seems to work via wifi. When I have my MacBook running via Ethernet, I cant get this remote connect. If anyone else if having this issue, the Sybu Kodi remote will solve your problem but its not quite as good in my opinion.

Sybu is better

I uninstalled this app in favor for another one.

Fantastic!

This is a wonderful app. It’s customizable, does everything I could possibly wish for, and always works. I wish I could pay the developer!

Need Apple Watch app

Would be really nice to have an Apple Watch app.

Please add Bluetooth support

Excellent app, needs Bluetooth support for those using Kodi in the car on the go, thank you!

iOS 10 support

Copy/paste in keyboard doesnt works on iOS 10.

Wow!!!

Just up graded from Frodo to Jarvis just to use the remote control app. Got install instructions from YouTube...simple. Wow!! I can control EVERYTHING from my iPhone!! Dont need to use the PC keyboard anymore! I dont know what took me so long to upgrade!

Love this app!

Im forever losing my remote now I dont need it lol

Best Xbmc remote I found

Needs landscape mode for iPhone 6splus also u revamped kodi 17 its time for a facelift on the remote...this is still my go to remote

Awesome!

Thank you for keeping this going... its getting a bit hard to blow peoples minds with Kodi/XBMC the way it use to be. But your remote gets the job done, every time

Excellent

I am using this on my Matricom Q2 and works better than expected. Setup was real easy and there are several YouTube videos out there to get you started. This works much better than the stock remote and the pii remote I was using.

Amazing

I Got Tired Of Gettin Up Every Two Seconds To Go To The Next Movie Or Episode & Came Across This Remote . It Works Great For My Laziness.

Good, but...

I like most everything about this Kodi remote. There is one thing that needs to be changed (unless theres an option I havent found yet.) Movies are sorted by the title, but really should be sorted by the SORT TITLE. The way it currently works all the movie titles starting with "The" are sorted under "T". For example, "The Avengers" shows up in "T" instead of in "A". This makes finding a movie by scrolling through you collection difficult. Please fix this and Ill update my review to 5 stars. Thanks!

Suggestion for volume controls

I have the remote app on both my iPhone and iPad. I control the volume of my system thru kodi alone. The main system is set up to a descent volume and I roll the volume back thru kodi instead of having to have a separate remote to control my home theatre/stereo. The app differs on how it handles volume between the regular app on iPhone and the iPad version. The iPhone version volume is on a side swipe of the main remote control screen as a slider. The iPad version of the app volume control is always a set of plus/minus buttons at the bottom of the app. There are times I prefer both: the slider is great for quickly decreasing or increasing volume but not so good for fine tuning volumes levels when switching between various sources of media all with varying levels. The buttons are great for fine tuning when listening to music or to movies when parts are too quiet. On the regular iPhone version of the app, the whole bottom of the screen under the section selectors for music, movies, TV, etc is totally blank. Could you please add both the volume slider and volume plus/minus buttons in that space?! Or at least a volume slider and volume mute button? 10/10 app if the volume control was added. Thanks for making such a great product that is used daily!

Needs a lot of work

Controls work ok but clicking on movies its shows all mine but there linked to a different movie. Never picks the correct one please correct

Wake on LAN is broken for iPhone

Wake on LAN is broken on iPhone, and It should disregard "A, An or The" when sorting. Otherwise it works great!

Great Kodi Remote

Just stared using the Kodi app. There was certainly some challenges with the setup, but all is working better than I expected. I have tried other remotes and this one is absolutely my go to. The one thing I wish they would change is the volume. To be on the same screen, with the control functions or be able to use the iPhone or iPad volume control buttons.
